  • Nice to be able to have a walk in the park with few worries. The maintenance staff does a fantastic job with the facilities in keeping them clean, stocked & serviceable considering how many people visit & use these daily throughout. People visiting need to pick up after their pets more often though. It is important to make sure that your vehicle is locked & valuables secured. There is always some element watching & looking for an opportunity, especially late in the evening. Otherwise, it's a nice place to go with family, friends & pets.
  • Hiking here is manageable and views are excellent on a clear day. You can even get over to the Rosie the Riveter Museum or the USS Red Oak (both are super close by). if you want to make a full day with your kiddos (or by yourself like me) pack a lunch and enjoy yourself! There’s some great bird watching, and I love to check out the people fishing off the pier. It’s a pretty amazing place to see wild flowers and black berries. Definitely highly recommend this place.
