Excellent tour! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and gave numerous examples of John Marshall's 34 year career as Chief Justice. Loved the orginal furnishings in the home. Very glad they have preserved this home with its history.

Very nice historical home right in the heart of downtown Richmond. The house contains many detailed and informative pieces about John Marshall, his life and career, as well information about the periods in which he lived and was chief justice of the Supreme Court. There is a nice garden in the rear to sit and enjoy the grounds. It's directly across the street from city hall.
