What a terrific local museum the Morris Center is. We stopped in on a weekday and were greeted by a very professional docent. We had a nice brief tour by the docent and were left to wander the exhibits. There is a rotating low country musical exhibit, a very interesting Civil War as well as Black Servicemen of WWII exhibit. Both exhibits were fascinating and educational. We loved how the local college students helped with the WWII exhibit. Definitely a fun stop in quaint Ridgeland.

Patricia shared the story of her family with us. It was so interesting. I loved it. She has promised to write a cookbook so we can try the meals of her heritage. I can't wait Patricia, you call me whenever it's ready.
