  • Went during covid lockdown but walked around the grounds which was a lot of fun and great to explore. There were a lot of people but everyone kept their distance and some had masks on.

  • Beautiful grounds with an amazing history. I love visiting here with family or even by myself. There are a variety of very interesting tours of the manor and the grounds throughout the year (including a Halloween graveyard tour). They have a wonderful reenactment of the reading of the Declaration of Independence which actually happened there in 1776. Just a truly amazing place.
  • A very interesting, beautiful and historical property. Its origins are back in the 1700's when men came to the area looking for copper but found iron. There are 51 rooms in the magnificent house. Thirty of them can be experienced with a guide. The tour is about 75 minutes long and includes stairs. The price of the tour is 3 dollars for adults and a dollar for children. Much of the grounds can be explored as well.
