  • My wife and our 22 year old son and I did a great 4+ mile hike on a hot Sunday morning. We arrived about 11am and there was ample parking ($5) . We hiked from lot A on the white trail- connected to...  more »
  • We were pleasantly surprised at how vast and how manicured this state park was. There was room enough to do just about everything, from swimming to organized sports, to picnics, whatever.  more »

  • My family has been visiting for years. This park is perfect for picnics, weddings, hyper six year old, all ages. The flowers are beautiful in all seasons, but especially Spring and Summer. Be sure to stop there in May for the fragrant lilac grove, there are many mature lilac trees, some over a century old. The Tudor style house needs so upkeep last time I was here, but it’s great to look at and imagine living there. There’s a special magic to the grounds of this spot.
  • This is one of most beautiful and amazing park I have ever visited in USA. It has this charming quietness that takes your solicitudes off your mind. I was actually surprised that it would be this comfortable. It has a museum too but unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to go inside for some reason that I can’t remember. But definitely i will go back there and I will visit the museum. Honestly, I’d need more than one visit to go almost over all the accessible places in the park. It’s very vast. I’d for sure recommend that park for families or groups, there is a barbecue spots and tables and everything to have a nice picnic and also to smoke some hookah👌
