Small local zoo with good variety. Surprisingly, they have 2 tigers. First time I’ve seen an arctic wolf, or a marsupial with baby in pouch. Tip: paths are unpaved, wear farm shoes especially if it..... more

This Zoo was amazing. What stood out to me the most was the enclosures the animals are in. They have tons of grass, shade and are well kept. The most remarkable I've ever seen in a zoo. I'm usually left feeling sad looking at animals in enclosures at the Philadelphia Zoo and Elmwood Zoo, but this place has it done right. It is reasonably priced for both admission and the giraffe experience. The gemstone mining at the end was a favorite of my oldest. I brought my two kids and we spent about 4 hours there just really checking out the animals and reading all the info boards. Which, if you've ever been to the Philadelphia Zoo, you know that is an impossibility with how crowded it is. We will definitely be back and would love to support this zoo more seeing how well taken care of their rescues are!

Wonderful staff always helpful. Great open air zoo. Beautiful free range peacocks are fun to watch. Walk the zoo then sit down for a snack/lunch. Great day trip for any age kiddo.
