Jake Korell always had a love for the outdoors and was a long-time trapper. He and his family began creating full body mounts from the more notable specimens the family trapped and hunted for their own collection. This collection grew to encompass more than 60 mounts and the decision was made to give the public access. This eventually became the basis for the Wind River Heritage Center.Add Wind River Heritage Center and other attractions to your Riverton trip itinerary using our Riverton tour itinerary planning website.
