    Some people here said it was easy, but I ran into several people on the trail today who found it to be pretty challenging - doable, but not a simple stroll. Make sure you go over the mountain. There.....  more »

    Hubby and I took a day off and did this hike.. there are a couple trails but we did the buzzard trail .. from beginning to return it was 3.5 miles .. the hike is great and the view was really nice...  more »

    We were heading to nc but got delayed due to Dorian's wrath. Read Mountain Preserve gave us a nice place to stop off and visit. Nice clean hiking trail. Nice small parking area with a couple of picnic tables. Best of all free and really nice views. Thanks Va!

    Great hike.. kinda short but has a wonderful view when reaching the top.. great hike to take to prepare for the longer/larger trails. Definitely recommend!!
