  • Awesome dinner tonight at the Genesee Brew House. Had the Potato Chip Tenders with BBQ, followed by the Pork Schnitzel. The Bourbon Barrel Bock beer was so good that I bought a growler to take some home. Wonderful time, and in a packed house, service was great. No trouble hearing at our table for 10! Finished off the evening on the roof overlooking High Falls. Oh, what a night.
  • Within the first 10 minutes of getting to GBH I encountered 5 employees. 4 would benefit from customer service training. While I understand it’s the right of the establishment to have their own rules I feel it’s poor business not to allow us to sit at a table until all parties arrive. We had a fantastic sever Ian, can’t say enough about how great he was. Unfortunately within 15 minutes of paying our bill a person named Marina came over under the guise of asking how we were; we told her how great Ian was and she responded with “he has his moments”. We were shocked. Marina then told us we needed to leave because we were done eating and had paid our bill. I couldn’t even respond. Again, another policy the restaurant should consider changing. Maybe someone in our party had to leave causing us to cash out. Maybe the rest of us planned to stay! Lastly the food was not great.
