  • This was one of the top state parks in the southeast we have ever visited. Wow. The views are beautiful. Most areas are pretty accessible to everyone. The waterfalls are insane. The way the levels in the gorge drop down are so cool. Great place to spend all day. We explored for almost 6 hours. I understand why not, but wish booze were permitted. Needs more parking.
  • One of the best place to visit around Rock Island. It has many water bodies, Great dam falls and twin falls are the two most important falls. Great dam falls closes at 6 pm however Twin falls area is open throughout the day. It also has a small trek which would take you along the waterfalls and the are places (rocks) to sit and just watch the majestic falls.
