  • Going in May allowed us to see so many flowers in bloom and a wide variety of freshly green plants in a beautiful setting full of rocks and water features. Definitely a Japanese garden feel with lanterns and raked sand. Purposeful design with many meandering paths. Parking is super easy and free and the staff is available and friendly with answers to any questions. Not at all crowded during the week.
  • I enjoyed Anderson Gardens in Rockford, Illinois this past Saturday. Everything is so beautiful and makes you feel special to have the opportunity to be a visitor. I especially enjoyed the new Spring Bloom Guide that was created by the volunteers at Anderson Gardens. The guide was very helpful in identification of numerous plants and trees blooming at this time, what an excellent idea!! Thank you for all your hard work!
