  • We really enjoyed our visit to the Burpee museum, it was a great way to spend that afternoon! They have an incredible set up with really cool exhibits and displays and a ton of neat artifacts/fossils, informative plaques and the staff was so sweet! They were very engaging, especially in the live animals section we were able to have some interaction with some animals which was my favorite thing! Ticket price is also very fair for how much they offer and the gift shop has great options! The next time we're in town we would be happy to visit again!
  • We spent Mother's day with our kids, their spouses, and grandson. What a wonderful time we had there. Our grandson is 2 and he is into anything dinosaurs. He lit up as soon as he saw the Mammoth skeleton just inside the front door. He loved Jane and the other skeletons and replicas of animals and fossils and stuffed creatures of all types. But there is no doubt that he liked Homer the best. Great place for the family to spend a cool overcast day or any day. You know the 2 year old had a great time when he had to go back through to say bye to Jane and Homer. What a wonderful informative display for all ages. This is a wonderful gem for all to see. It is well kept up and clean. My hat's off to all that work there and the marvelous work they do
