  • It was 5 years since I’ve been here. It’s always good to see the progress of the puffins. They set up new maps and an exhibit. Still a cool place to visit and buy some puffin gear.  more »
  • Fantastic place and a highly recommended stop when in Rockland, ME! It's a very small exhibit but packed with tons of information and hands on exhibits that teach you about puffins and the attempts to re-establish them in Maine. The woman who was staffing the exhibit gave an excellent tour with tons of information about puffins for us and our two boys. Live webcam feeds in two burrows allowed us to spy on two puffin chicks while we were there. Exhibit is free but there is a $5 per person suggested donation. Great for adults and kids and well worth the time and donation!
