Turtle Creek Golf Club, Rockledge

#3 of 6 in Things to do in Rockledge
Turtle Creek Golf Club was built in 1971 and was designed by Robert Renaud, a golf course architect who worked throughout the Southeast and particularly in Tennessee. It’s a heavily landscaped, traditional Old Florida course with well-manicured fairways and greens.

Because the fairways wind through well-wooded fairways, your club selection will be crucial. "You can’t lose your focus” explains Joe Salzman, General Manager at the club, "you’ll definitely find a use for almost every club in your bag at "the Creek".

"The course offers four sets of tees to test the skills of all level of players. The forward tees are fairly short – just 4704 yards. You may elect to move back to the whites to get a little bit more of a challenge. The course record from the tips is 61 set by local player Charlie Griffin in May 2004

  • A course that has water on 14 out of 18 holes. You actually only have to carry over water on 6 of the holes. As long as you hit is straight then the water hazards do not come into play on the other 14...  more »
  • We had a great time but lost more balls than we should have. Played with 2 locals but even with their suggestions, it was hard to keep away from all the water. Not a 5 star course but a great deal! Wi...  more »
  • Greens in good shape. Fairways very thin and tough. Reasonable rates for this time of year. Pace of play was pretty good. Not bad overall but narrow and tough on certain holes. Friendly staff excellent bar and restaurant.
  • Carts are new and greens in OK condition. However it is a scruffy track with alot of bare lies in the fairways. Lots of blue hairs and and older golfers with ball retrievers picking balls out of the water. And water is on every hole. Paid $42 for Sunday golf and was expecting better conditions.
