The Mansion is closed for Hurricane Harvey repairs until further notice, but our Education and History Center and Museum Store is open:

Thurs-Sat, 10:00am-4:00pm

& Sun, 1:00-4:00pm

Closed: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day

  Although the mansion is still under construction and won’t reopen until December, this is worth your time. The staff at the Education Center next door offer detailed knowledge and history of the home.  more »

  Last night my friends and I were at a jazz concert outside. It was on the lawn of the mansion. Actually free and every enjoyable. Next time they have one Come bring a lawn chair something to eat and or drink and even your dog. It was delightful.

  Really bet place to stop. It is closed for tours right now but we had fun walking the grounds. There is a beautiful flower garden. Be sure to look for the windmill in the tree too!
