Lake Atalanta is a reservoir along Prairie Creek in Rogers, Arkansas, used primarily for recreation, built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration. The lake is named for Atalanta Gregory, the wife of O.L. Gregory, who donated most of the land that now forms the lake. Lake Atalanta Dam is earthen with rock fill, and is 43 feet (13 m) tall and 910 feet (280 m) long.

  • The bike trails are good some are uphill and there are off trail mountain bike paths also. Clean and good bathrooms if needed. Good and safe parking.  more »
  • Beautiful 1.8 mile loop. I did a little bit more walking as I had to check out as much as I could. The offshoot boardwalk had two structures. Beautiful place to relax and meditate. And get a good....  more »
