I loved seeing all the well cared for animals. I am 83 years old and I had my first camel ride, ever. It was so much fun and everyone from the entrance person to the people that sold the t-shirts...

Peaceful, clean, and not expensive. Entrance is only $5 (4yr and older). A big bucket of carrots is only $6 and it such an experience to feed the animals. My kids did the driving test ($3), and loved it. You walk a small pony through a small maze/path. Will go on the last Saturday of the month next time to do the camel ride ($10)
My family and I visited this petting zoo on 4/10 and we had a great time. The entrance is 5 dollars for anyone 4 and older (3 and under are free). The petting zoo is open April thru October, only on Saturday's from 10 am til 4 pm (the last entrance to the zoo is at 3 pm). They have a variety of animals to check out and feed like deer, goats, sheep, bison, a bull, camels, horses, donkeys, a zebra, mules, pigs and more. Almost all the animals eat carrots and one can buy the carrots there. A small bucket of carrots costs 2 dollars (+1 dollars to refill it) and a bigger bucket cost 6 dollars (+4 dollars to refill it). They also have pony rides but if the weather is too windy they won't allow people to ride the pony but take it for a walk around the area (or test drive it as they call it). They also have camels that one can feed and ride, but the camels are only available to ride on the last Saturday of the month. The petting zoo also has a small play area for the kids and a picnic table area. Theres a sign off the main road that points to the dirt road that will take you to the petting zoo. Just follow the dirt road all the way to the end/back and you will see a big parking area and where one pays the admission fee. Overall, this place is great to bring the kids and do something different, specially if you're in the area.
