The Roseau County Historical Society was organized in April 1927 with the intent of collecting, preserving and disseminating the history of Roseau County, Minnesota. The organization displays artifacts from the present and the past that represent the history of the county as well as hosts traveling exhibits at the museum. The Historical Society also has an extensive research center.

  • We came in late in the afternoon specifically to look at a dress that my husband's great-grandmother wore. it was a beautiful display and the people were very friendly. They shared some files they had in the back so we could learn more of family history. The museum was very clean and looked interesting. But we were on a limited amount of time.
  • Good representation of the area and interesting artificats. Fun and free.
