  • This is a nice little find. It is relatively level and a good distance for a walk. Wear proper shoes as you will get into some mucky areas. Lots of bird life too.  more »

  • Nice find. Very beautiful area. Today was very wet and very buggy. Would recommend a second pair of shoes and socks! Much of the trail is under water. You can scoot around some areas, but plan on wet feet! Would definitely visit again. Tip: If you go counter clockwise, you'll get to the main beaver dam and suspension bridge faster! Enjoy!
  • A lovely place to stop if you're on the way to the white mountains. This area is a nature preserve managed in part by The Nature Conservancy. It is a large bog with a trail around it. There are many areas with wooden platforms built above the bog and one long suspension bridge. You will find benches around the trail and lots of flora. I did not see any animals today but animals, including moose, can be spotted in the dajw or dusk according to park interpreters. "Pinecone" Steve the interpretor shared a lot of history and information as well! ***Please note! There is no broken glass on the trails. This is natural mica!***
