The Lake Ontario Playhouse, Sackets Harbor

The Watertown area is severely lacking in places to go out and enjoy a night with your significant other. Fortunately, the Lake Ontario Playhouse has been a guaranteed spot at least a couple dozen times for my wife and I. They have a bar and serve food, but I've yet to hear a single positive thing about the food there, and the bar's service is hit or miss, but once you get to your table inside things make a drastic improvement. The night always starts with a joke off, followed by an opening act then a head liner. The headliner's have generally been great, and the opening act's usually don't disappoint, although there have been some painfully horrible comics that didn't know when to count their losses. Overall, if you have a good sense of humor you'll find your money well spent. Make sure if you're military you show your ID to get a discount.
