    During the COVID-19 pandemic the park had some visitors, all wearing masks and social distancing. The rise garden was in full bloom and the Canadian geese and Mallards were enjoying the pond with...  more »

    We went to McKinley park to witness the changes... very disappointed. We love McKinley Park and often go on a weekend to walk around and enjoy the park. One improvement was the pond. The drunks or...  more »

    This park is such a part of my life, and my family's life here in Sacramento. So many birthday parties, coming to feed the ducks, (back when we didn't know we shouldn't!) Jogging, walking, coming to see the roses in the Rose Garden in the spring and summer. Romantic picnics! Frisbee games, yoga, swimming at the pool, and the beautiful library. I'll always love this place.

    Absolutely gorgeous park, big playground with lost of stuff for all ages including a separated playground for toddlers and younger children, sandbox and swings. Gorgeous pond and field with several types of wildlife and a gorgeous rose garden
