National Tiger Sanctuary reviews
They have a nice place for tigers that need lifelong care. Well built roomy enclosures, clean and pleasant environment. the tour was informative and we got a good close look at the tigers. more »
They have 40 tigers/lions at this time, and got to see many. It was a cold and rainy day, but the animals still showed themselves. We did the feeding tour, and got to feed the tigers through a pipe... more »
The National Tiger Sanctuary was amazing! The tigers and other animals were all very well taken care of. The "cages" were very clean. Cage is not really an appropriate word, as they were large enough so the animals had space enough so they could move around and explore, have separate bedrooms, pools, grass, trees, and some had places for the animals to hide. We helped feed the tigers, and all appropriate action was taken to insure the cats' safety as well as our own. The cats' privacy was well respected. One of the most impressive things was that the tour guides were not tied to the clock. They allowed all questions to be broached and didn't seem to mind that we went over our allotted time. Other than the animals, our satisfaction with the tour was most important to the sanctuary and it showed. The guides were impressive with their enthusiasm and knowledge. I would definitely go back again and again and recommend it highly. This is definitely a "sanctuary" for these animals who were never given a choice on how to live their life. Bless the owners and staff!!!
It's really wonderful what they're doing for these animals. The stories of where these animals come from are very compelling. The tour guide was very informative and showed great love for these animals. If ever back in the area I would definitely go back. I encourage everyone who has a chance to go to do so and support this good cause.
