Operating as a not-for-profit rescue facility, National Tiger Sanctuary offers a number of guided tours with opportunities to interact with its resident big cats. The rescued animals that live here include white and orange tigers, African lions, a mountain lion, a black leopard, and more. During your tour, you can learn about the animals and the threats to their survival. Plus, you'll also get an inside look at each cat's quirky personality. The more deluxe guided tours include experiences such as feeding the animals and a behind-the-scenes look of the facility. We visited this last weekend. We did 2 tours and they were fantastic! Our tour guide was Sophia. She was amazing. She shared her knowledge with us in a way that was educational, with a splash of humor and made little comments that made it clear how much she personally cares about the cats and other animals at the sanctuary. By far one of the better tours we’ve been on in years. I could spend all day out there. Definitely worth the visit(s) and every penny.

Love the place. I believe people here genuinely care about these animals. Worth every penny- think of it as your support for these big cats. I didn’t catch his name but the guide who showed us around had all these personal and funny stories about each animal in there. Don’t miss if you’re nearby!
