  • This was a really great place to visit. What I was not prepared for were the 208 steps it took to get there. And they are not uniform. But it was well worth the $1 you pay for the view!  more »
  • This place is a perennial favorite of mine, one of these days the climb to the top will kill me. The view up there is excellent and the gift shop is something else. Pure 50's kitsch.  more »

  • Old school tourist spot with incredible panoramic view! The climb up is 170+ steep steps, with several resting spots for the not so fit. Take your photo with a giant Paul Bunyan and Babe, then browse the great gift / souvenir shop. All for the bargain cost of $1. Enjoy the simpler times. It's great!
  • Wasn't sure what to expect from this spot along the freeway. We paid $1 per person to go up approximately 175 stairs to a bridge that led to a rock formation with a platform that has an amazing view of Mackinac Island! Worth the money! Tale your time going up the stairs and bring your camera! Go through gift shop to get to stairs and exit the same way.
