  • I came to the museum with some colleagues and students from Lindenwood. We were impressed by the museum's range of artifacts and art. It's very interactive. The docents were helpful and welcoming. I spent about two hours but i could've spent twice that; there's so much to take in. We'll be back in the future and I hope many more St. Louisans visit this important part of our local, national, and international history.
  • The renovation is now complete -- and it's marvelous. Regardless of your ethnicity, race or background, you cannot help but be moved as you learn of the plight of European Jews during WWII. Displays illustrate the events leading up to the war and the series of infringements suffered by Jews, leading up to the Final Solution, their extermination. There are displays on local (St. Louis) families which bring it home. It is an important destination for everyone living in St. Louis so we never forget humans' capacity for inhumanity. May we never repeat it.
