  • The gateway arch (museum and grounds) have gone a looong way since my last visit 15 years ago! Great advances in technology and excellent design updates inside, well organized, friendly staff. We love...  more »
  • It's very interesting how an object can change a feel of the entire town, make it more popular and vibrant. That's just an arch! A very good looking one, though.  more »

  • Very nice place. It was very clean wherever you looked. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You have to get your stuff checked and go through a metal detector, but they were able to get us all through very quickly. The tour to the top of the arch was very nice, with our lovely guides. The pods to go the top were fairly small, but not too claustrophobic, and we got up there in around 4 minutes. It was a beautiful view of course.
  • The last time I tried to go to the Arch, it was closed for the renovations I got to experience this last weekend. I have gone to a lot of monuments, and this definitely ranks up there. We opted for buying our tickets online the day before, and we purchased the tram ride and video for two. It snowed the morning we were supposed to go, but they called us in advance. We had to take a later tram and catch a later video, but it was nice that they still honored our tickets at the best time that worked for us. The tram is small of course, but actually more spacious than I imagined. It was a quick ride up, and the views were spectacular! The video was very informative. It’s really quite amazing to see them go through the process. The staff was very friendly. And we met some nice people from Chicago. Overall a great experience and we supported by buying some stuff at the gift shop.
