With its Neoclassical architecture and copper and gold-leaf dome, Cathedral of Saint Paul is one the largest and most recognizable religious buildings in the United States. The cathedral features 24 stained-glass windows. On the inside, the life of Saint Paul is honored with a large, bronze baldachin. You can also see the statues of four evangelists. The cathedral celebrates migrations of people to Minnesota with its five chapels dedicated to the patron saints of the Irish, the Italians, the Germans, the Slavs, and the French-Canadians. Another chapel is dedicated to Christian missionaries. You can take a guided tour or opt for a self-guided tour (brochures are available inside the cathedral for a small donation). Beautiful cathedral. There are masses regularly and also the church is open most of the time and welcomes visitors. The architecture of this place is so spectacular and full of detail. There is a floor underneath with more things to see and check if you are interested. My main purpose of this trip was to see this church, so I'm not sure about the priest or other information for people that want to see the masses etc. Independent if you believe in religion or not you should check this beautiful place. The organ was so beautiful and echoed everywhere
Cathedral of Saint Paul is an amazing catholic church! You can go in anytime and pray and other catholic traditions. They have masses throughout the day that anyone can attend if they decide they want to. The place is massive and is so nice while having statues of a lot of the Saints. The place is amazing and church doesnt get any better then this!
