  • You are right by the city but you feel like you are up north in the woods. Great bike trails and views of the Mississippi River. It is a good day activity with the kids.  more »
  • Beautiful open space! Truly defines what a park should be! Enjoy nice open space with lots of grass. Great place to take the kids (young & young-at-heart). Also a nice spot to get away from downtown without having to go to far! And also nice for big outdoor events! Like the Red Bull Flugtag! (See pics)
  • Lilydale/Harriet Island Regional Park is "A Diamond in the Ruff" when it comes to urban parks. Miles of former railroad tracks, now asphalt paved for both walkers and runners with a separate bicycle path. From the Mighty Mississippi River to the urban woodlands, the area teams with beautiful fauna, flowers and wildlife. Whether starting your journey at Harriet Island or the community of Lilydale, ample off street parking is available for free. Historic landmarks, fossil hunting areas, lakes, streams and rest areas are available. Great for individuals and families.
