Charleville Vineyard & Winery, Sainte Genevieve

Love this winery, it is so pretty in the fall. The pizza is very good (wood fired). Love that they are dog friendly. It’s a very laid back vibe. I think there’s potential to expand the snacks/menu as well as seating.

We had a great visit including an overnight stay in the B&B! The wine was nice -- Dakota Red and Barrel Fermented Chardonel were our favorites. The beers have been one of our favorites for years now -- Barrel-Aged Box Of Chocolate was the highlight of this trip. The pizza was delicious and staff was friendly. The views are wonderful. The breeze outside was a bit chilly for our visit in March, but will be very welcomed in the summer. The B&B was nice -- great for two couples -- the bed was way comfier than the wicker furniture in the common area. Breakfast was yummy in the morning. It was great to have a place to crash after lots of beer & wine without driving anywhere.
