Crown Ridge Tiger Sanctuary, Sainte Genevieve

I visited this place over Memorial Day weekend. My wife and I went there for the early tour. The tour guides are very nice and knowledgeable. The price is affordable, it's not as crowded as a zoo, and you get more tiger focus than you would at a zoo anyway. They take very good care of the tigers. They tell you the history of the individual tigers in their care, and they give a lot of education about tigers in general. There was this little black domestic cat that lives on site named Watson. He pretty much stole the show following us around everywhere we went on the tour. They have a small gift shop, and they have lodging where you can actually stay on site if you want to. All in all its a great place if you love tigers. The ride out there is amazing as well, beautiful rolling countryside hills.

We went for the VIP tour, and it was well worth the price. Our guide is very knowledgeable, and we were able to see most of the rescued tigers (Izzy, Thor and Sebastian) in their enclosures. The tigers seem to be well taken care of, and the sanctuary grounds is clean.
