I went to Ste. Genevieve for the first time on 02.20.2023. One of my stops was this fabulous museum. The staff was gracious and very knowledgeable. This is a history buffs and geologist dream place and fun for everyone! The pics I have are just a snippet of what they have to offer. In addition I have added a few pics of this fabulous town!

Great hidden gem of a museum in a historical town! The curators/designers are very knowledgeable about the exhibits, presenting extra information about where they found the many artifacts, fossils, and replicas presented here. There is even a station where you can see their excavation work on Missouri's own state dinosaur. There are two floors, however there is an elevator for those needing help with mobility. Several of the exhibits are being revamped as of October 2022, so they will be even more impressive afterwards!
