Independent Whitewater, Salida

My first time rafting in Colorado and we had a blast! Grant was the best guide and we appreciated his knowledge of the area. Everyone we crossed were very friendly and welcoming. The food at the bar on site, the Drift In, was so good that we ate there two days in a row. Thanks for a fantastic experience! We will be back soon.

The Metzger family had 2 great experiences with IW….first a 1/4 day family float trip with ages spanning from 3 to 70+, and then a 1/4 Browns Canyon run with 4 adults, and 3 9-12 yos. Cole and Mike P were great guides with Mike ensuring the whitewater experience was extra special for the 9-12 yos. We even got to cliff jump and the kids “rode the bull” through some rapids… while always feeling very safe. ❤️😬 Don’t miss hanging out at the Drift In Bar and Grill. Great food and better atmosphere right on a private section of the river. We’ll be back on our next trip! A smaller company that does it right!
