    Cool, shady, can sit on rocks. Can rent float tubes including helmet and life vest for $15 for three hours although there were none available at the time we were there. There are a few eateries...  more »

    Always enjoy this area. WAS disappointed that most peoples were NOT wearing masks. We do this walk several times/day........and DID the Barbara Whipple Trail also. Lucky to have had great weather.  more »

    A beautiful Park right next to the Arkansas River. It has a nice playground and plenty of picnic benches, there is also an amphitheatre where sometimes there is free live music. Right in the heart of downtown, I like to grab lunch to go at a nearby restaurant and picnic at the park.

    A great river! So are the Cottonwood trees there rooted into the river! So many good restaurants surrounding the park. There's usually a good spot to park your vehicle. Unless your an RV!
