  • Took my wife to the roof restaurant for our anniversary and it never disappoints! There's another restaurant across from it. There's rooms available to rent for parties and lots of rich history in the building from the early forefathers who built Utah from the ground up. There's also a family history center named Family tree I believe where you can check on family genealogy. Plenty of people there to help you get information about the Joseph Smith Memorial building!
  • I have loved this building since I first saw in in 1980 - wandering through it and enjoying the history is always a nice time ... going up stairs for dinner with a view at the Roof - always a treat. Being there at Christmas time - and enjoying the lights - is a touch of heaven. BUT - my favorite thing ... The Giving Machines - You have to go there at Christmas time to understand ... If you have the time ... DO so!!
