  • We were staying in a VRBO nearby so a morning walk took me to Liberty Park. Few people were there at 7:00am on a Sat but it was a great place to spend 30-40 minutes.

  • Liberty park has always been a spot of fun and relaxation for me. I grew up in the southern end of the Salt Lake Valley so I didn't get up to liberty park often but when I did I was always amazed at the size and fun things to do there. As an adult I still don't live close by but my family is being treated at the Huntsman cancer center which is not far from Liberty Park. Liberty park has become a spot where we enjoy lunch surrounded by a beautiful piece of nature.
  • I love taking my dog to this park. It's huge. The parking is super easy and convenient. Some homeless camped around, but there's enough space to not really notice. There's always a good amount of people, dogs, kids, musicians hanging around to make it feel homey. The bathrooms are currently closed, but the porta-potties are open. There was poop on the seat, and it was quite a feat to keep my dog from sitting while I hovered above the rim. It is what it is. I didn't have to pee outside, so thank goodness for that.
