  • My visit to the Museum was great that's why I only gave it five stars. Its located downtown so the building isn't very big and they only had a few good pieces to look at but overall it's a great addition to downtown San Antonio Texas. Check out my video on YouTube for the Briscoe Museum Walkthrough under my name. Be careful for some of the staff they are not tourist friendly.
  • Visiting over the Thanksgiving holiday was a wonderful experience for our family. Our girls (7 & 5 years old) thoroughly enjoyed the entire walkthrough. It was especially nice for them that we happened to run into a very young boy (and who I presumed to be his uncle) who was an excellent tour guide for our girls. His knowledge made every room we visited that much more enjoyable - come to find out his mother is a historian! Everything from the scaled down recreation of the Alamo to the gorgeous paintings and etchings lining the walls to the authentic paraphernalia representing various eras of time was incredibly designed and engaging.
