  • We totally enjoyed this Western Art Museum! The paintings were really great but the artifacts were even better! Stage coach, spurs, animals, saddles and so much more! Highly recommend going!  more »
  • Our family has visited San Antonio for years. We've heard of the Briscoe but never went. That was a big mistake, we could have enjoyed it all along. I'm not really an art museum fan, but this place.....  more »

  • The place was so very interesting!!!!! I stayed longer than expected because I was getting so much history. As I walked out of the museum it was a big Wow!! I would love to visit again. I do indeed recommend this museum, which is free on Tuesday after 4pm. They have special exhibits , so it is good to see what's going on with the on the official website, so Enjoy!!!! This is a first class museum. Lovely
  • Such a wonderful little museum. They have really great saddle and spur collections, not to mention paintings and bronzes. Elaborately designed, the model of Alamo battle is an impressive demonstration with ornate miniatures. Don't miss the open-air sculpture exhibit in their backyard- it's really awesome as well. A must visit in San Antonio.
