  • This is a good museum with lots of one or twos of famous painters in US and Europe. But the main room did not have a good labeling system for what you were seeing. You had to go to the end of a room....  more

  • Great art and history to the jewel. So many different pieces of art: sculpture, costumes, paintings and architecture. Have lunch at Twin sisters bakery down the street.

  • The McNay is absolutely lovely. I find myself coming here, quite often, to explore. It has so many beautiful works of art to admire and learn about. It's always a fun experience here. About my only qualm with it is that the security can be a tad overbearing, at times. I've had a few experiences where certain members of security would follow me and stay almost uncomfortably close around me, while I perused. I know that they're only doing their job, and I don't fault them for that. But I feel like they could still do their jobs quite well, without hovering so closely around the patrons. Apart from that though, the museum is a lovely and I always look forward to checking out the new exhibits!
  • Beautiful in and out Check out the new landscaping. Very romantic at night. Exhibitions sparkle. There is art for everyone and interactive projects for kids and adults. Best to get a membership. You feel as though you are coming home to family.
