Originally a private residence, picturesque The Guenther House Museum now serves as a restaurant, store, and museum dedicated to Carl Hilmar (C.H.) Guenther, the founder of a local wheat and corn operation. Inscribed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house celebrates Guenther's life, his immigration from Germany to the U.S., and his skills as a trained millwright, cabinetmaker, and stonemason. The original furniture is preserved, and the residence is available for touring. The restaurant is a popular brunch spot, serving hearty meals on the sunny terrace. My wife and I came here for brunch today. We are glad we waited for our table because it was well worth it. The service was outstanding and the food was outstanding as well. I had the spinach, mozzarella and mushroom quiche; it was the best quiche I've ever had. Highly recommended. The pancakes and the cinnamon was also very good. The fruit was super fresh. My wife loved the bacon and sausage patties. 5/5, highly recommend this place for brunch.

I love this place! I come here for breakfast/brunch every chance I get. Everything tastes fresh; from the coffee to their chicken and waffles. Their fruit is even really sweet. Their atmosphere is incredible. Always great service. Just expect to wait a while for a table, especially on the weekend. I recommend come early!!
