  • I had a great experience visiting the Balboa park, in my opinion is immense! and so a good place for strolling around and just enjoy yourself. The greenery is amazing! And every now and then you come across some ancient trees that make you realize how lucky we are to have this beautiful park in the San Diego area. Also make sure to pay a visit to the Old Globe theater where amazing plays are going on year around. The days that I spent visiting the Balboa park are days to remember forever.
  • Balboa Park is one of my favorite places in San Diego because it is natural, beautiful and free of charge. The Museum of Man costs money, but its enough to skip the ticket price and take in the architecture from the outside. There is a greenhouse that is free further inside the park, past the Museum of Man via the long, columned walkways. If you’re physically able, I’d recommend renting a Bird scooter and cruising through the lesser trafficked areas of the park. The large outdoor organ is unique, I’ve never seen anything like it, and it was actually pretty cool to hear it playing when I was last there. I think the Palm Trails are amazing, and I wish I had spent more time on them.
