Went on the 2.5 hour whale watching tour. Boat was comfortable, nice staff, great education from volunteers! Snacks were not as expensive as I expected, and i loved the option of being inside or out on multiple decks. We went on a weekday and the crowd was small which was really nice. Made for a relaxing and quiet cruise. The first day we didn't spot a whale (but saw tons of dolphins), they stuck to their guarantee and gave us whale check tickets. When we came back 2 days later the staff recognized us and were so nice. We ended up seeing 3 whales and the Captain kept the boat out a few minutes longer so we could see them. Overall a beautiful cruise, great staff, amazing experience for the whole family. We highly recommend fitting this into your schedule!
Very relaxing and amazing experience. Get to go through the whole bay and view the amazing scenery San Diego has to offer. You also get commentary from the 1st Officer over the speaker on the surrounding area so you learn a thing or too as well. Definitely recommend this mini voyage to couples and family alike.
