  • I love the Old Globe! They bring interesting productions to San Diego in a sophisticated, but intimate environment. I used to be a subscriber, but even now, I see at least two shows there each season. Casting and directing choices are usually refreshing, so even if you've seen a show at another theater, you should see it again at the Old Globe. Parking can be challenging and the food could be better, otherwise, you're in for a treat at the Old Globe.
  • Globe outdoor stage Shakespeare Festival "Romeo and Juliet." Barry Edelstein blew the doors off! Fabulous show. Really made it very accessible to a wide range audience. The staging and the interpolation of contemporary music made the script bold and alive. A must see. A wonderful way to spend a San Diego Summer Evening. Bravo!
