The Cabrillo National Monument marks the long history of the peninsula, celebrating the first European mission that landed on America’s Pacific coast. The west side houses the Sunset Cliffs, a geological formation that contains dinosaur fossils. Take care while exploring the cliffs, especially on windy days, as they might be wet and unstable.   • So cool to experience this from the water! We took our Freedom Boat Club center counsel from the SD Bay to Mission May. Tons of USN history here, and the rock is epic.  more »
