"The Speakeasy" - It's the roaring twenties! People are driving cars, talking on telephones, and going to the movies. But unfortunately, it's also Prohibition and most of those people would trade all of that "progress" for a beer. In fact, the only place to get a drink is at a mob-run Speakeasy. When you go for a taste of the forbidden sauce, things get a bit rowdy and the bartender locks you in so the boss can sort out the mess. You overhear that the boss will be back in an hour. While the night may have started out as the "bee's knees", it will be your knees if you can't escape!
"The Diner" - After a wild night at a mob bar a few decades ago, you took up with the wrong crowd and now you find yourself about to rob the local diner. This isn't your first gig and you're hoping it won't be your last. The boys didn't give much detail, but said the prep work is all set; just be in and out in less than an hour. If you can pull it off, you'll be in the "Money Honey". On the other hand, if you mess this one up, you'll be writing your own version of "Jailhouse Rock", ya dig?

We own escape games on the east coast and midwest, and found these rooms to be great. Nice immersion and variation in the puzzles. The puzzles were very clever and made sense, which we feel are key to a good room. We had a large group and played Speakeasy, Chinatown, and Diner, and we all came out praising the games. If we were going to be in town longer, we'd come back and switch rooms. It was an easy walk for all of us near Mission Beach.
Great escape room with intricate puzzles and was very detailed! We did the Diner room with 4 people - and had some difficulties finishing in the allotted time (1 hr) I would recommend doing it with more people (unless everyone is an escape room veteran) however it was a good introduction for first timers besides that!
