Seaport Village, San Diego

4.1
Shop and dine at Seaport Village, a waterfront complex connected by 6km (4 mi) of cobblestone walking paths lined with ponds, fountains, and gardens. This village has 54 shops and galleries, 17 restaurants, and a slate boardwalk along the San Diego Bay. It was built in Victorian and traditional Mexican architectural styles over Punta de los Muertos, the location where the Spanish Expedition of 1782 buried victims of scurvy. Explore the specialty vendors, relax along the water, or take a ride on the center's antique carousal, which was built in 1895 and features hand carved animals. • We come here often for a light lunch or to walk. This place has shops, restaurants, and plenty to do. Parking is not free but can be validated for the first few hours.  more »

  • Great place! Lots of different activities that make it easy to spend the day here. Really enjoyed all of the little unique shops and cute buildings. There were also lots of street performers and live music to enjoy. Several different food options as well so don't worry about packing a lunch! We were lucky enough to be staying within walking distance of the area so I am not sure on the accessibility of parking. Would recommend if you are visiting the city!
  • Cool and calm place in downtown with many good restaurants around. A beautiful spot to spend a relaxing night. It looks like a small city market. Parking is free after 8 pm till 10 30 pm. Famous for Mexican food. Very lively place. There is beautiful view of Coronado bridge from here which looks stunning at night when it is lit with colors.
