My friend and I had a short amount of time in San Fran and wanted to squeeze in a lot in one day. We booked an all day Muir Red Wood and city tour. It was easily one of the best tours I have ever had in any city, and I like to think I am very well traveled. As a vigorous backpacker and someone who is typically anti-tour groups I was pleasantly surprised. To be safe I booked a small group tour and Randy was assigned to my group. He was simply fantastic! Seriously, Randy is the man, so nice and so informative and honest about what he didn’t know, which was little to nothing. He also had the best local recommendations to check out after our tour. It was a perfect combination of leave you alone so you can do your own thing, and educate you as best as possible so you’re informed about the city you are exploring and not just aimlessly trying to figure things out. The manager also helped solve a very concerning issue for me the night before. I ran through all the reviews prior to booking with them and after reading said reviews and having my own experience, I would argue if you know how to travel and voice what you want to your tour guide you should have a wonderful time and see more than you ever thought you could in one whole day.
I would like to commend the manager of San Francsico and Beyond, for all her help with my half day wine tour. She was kind and attentive in helping me deal with a somewhat extenuating issue. I can say with certainty I will book with you guys again! Thanks
