  • About a mile or so away from Clarion Alley is Balmy Alley. I actually liked the art here better. Almost everything is painted in this alley....whether it be the sides of a house, a fence, a garage doo...  more »
  • The many paintings on walls, garages and so on are partly fine crafts, partly a good piece of history of political art.

  • This is the loveliest little alley to walk down. The murals have so many political messages - the artworks are very thought provoking. I had some really nice chats with the artists who were working. Very nice of them sharing their method. The area around is lovely too - esp the North end of the alley which has nice little eateries.
  • We had a good experience there. It was surprisingly clean considering the area. The street was well kept and the murals were beautiful. Great photo opportunities. We were pleasantly surprised.
