To see how a major baseball stadium functions behind the scenes, take a tour of Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants. This ballpark is renowned for its views of the San Francisco Bay, best appreciated from the highest seats. Located downtown, the stadium is easily accessible from almost anywhere in the city by public bus or train. Game tickets may be difficult to come by late in the season, but you can always explore the dugout, clubhouse, press box, and the batting cage on a private tour. For a free look at a few innings, stand under the archways stretching along the stadium's waterfront promenade. Oracle Park is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our international travel planner, San Francisco Edition.
Oracle Park Reviews
This stadium is beyond fan family friendly. The tour shows you a spectacular stadium full of SF Giant history. The views of this stadium are the most beautiful you will ever see. Being on the field is... more »
more »I went to watch the Yankees against the giant. Because it was a day game, the sea was seen beyond the ballpark and it was beautiful. The food was delicious and the game was fun. Because the ballpark is small, it looks roughly even in a distant seat. However, it was a little scary because the seagull was unusually when becoming near the evening. The sun is very strong, so sunscreen is a must.
Lifelong Seattle Mariners fan here. I had the pleasure of attending a day game a week or so ago. I have a friend who lives a couple blocks away, so I was able to walk around the park a few times while we visited. The location of course is world class, right on the bay, next to the marina, wow. The newly minted "Triple Alley" free viewing box for people walking along the pier, or even locals who maybe cannot afford a ticket, is simply put, the coolest thing I have seen in major league sports. The bicycle valet area was super neat. The staffers of the bike valet had the vibe that they loved their job, and why wouldn't they? Inside the park was top notch. Peanuts and IPA was as far as I dipped into concessions. I didn't head to the upper deck, but I did walk the right field wall at the end of the game and that was a fine view. The bleachers looked fun. I'll look forward to another game there someday, hopefully vs. the Mariners, which of course is unusual, especially in the postseason, ugh.
Just love coming here to watch a ballgame. Such a beautiful park altogether. Never a boring moment for people of all ages. There's food and entertainment for everyone. You can watch the game from any angle of the park and always have a awesome view. The workers are super helpful and seem to always want to help you and make you feel welcome wherever you are.
