Admire a spectacular view of San Francisco from Twin Peaks. Located 20 minutes from the city center, the park features two of the highest points in San Francisco and is a well-known escape from the buzz of the city, where visitors can enjoy a tranquil walk or picnic with sprawling views of the Bay Area from 281 m (922 ft) up. Be sure to pack a jacket, as the area is known for windy conditions. See Twin Peaks and all San Francisco has to offer by arranging your trip with our San Francisco trip planning site.

Gale force winds dislodging your camera/phone from your hands, standing on the edge of nowhere with no bottom in sight all to get some of the best views of San Francisco. It was all well worth it...

I have been going to Twin Peaks for years because I always love seeing the city from up there. You can take amazing pictures and hike. It’s accessible but I recommend going super early before 10 am because it gets crowded. One of my favorite places. You can see the golden state bridge from a distance and the whole city. I hope the city can take better care of it because the last time I was there the walls smelled like pee and beer.
This visit was much better than my last one! The hostess was cordial, and I was seated quickly (although I was put in the far back corner). Macy was my server and was properly attentive. Order place, order received, all good. For this visit I ordered the Millionaires Burger with sweet potato fries. The hamburger was delicious! It is now on my Top 5 best hamburgers list. The sweet potato fries were perfectly cooked: crispy on the ootside and tasty! Side note I'm a photographer and I had just finished up a photo shoot with a model. Two models that I have photographed work here, so that's why I return. Neither were on duty this night. I often eat alone and since I'm driving, I never order drinks. Perhaps these two factors lead to my usually receiving adequate to poor service. Which is too bad since I tip 50% for good service.
