  • I've always preferred hands-on museums over museums where you just observe things under glass and read about what you are looking at. This museum is definitely hands-on. A highlight for me was...  more »
  • It was a pleasant activity for my son. It was a bit smaller for a Tech Interactive place. Souvenir items are expensive. Not much of a selection in their store. It's clean and the kids had so much...  more »
  • We chose to go to the Tech to see the two iconic films that are celebrating 50 year anniversaries: D-Day, and Apollo 11. It was a Tuesday afternoon, so good to beat the crowds. In fact, the theatre was nearly empty! We could have the pick of our seats! Apollo 11 was not well done, using old footage that was not remade for IMAX. It was just OK. But D-Day was excellent. The historic background, as well as the visuals were wonderful, and gave one a very good story of this amazing event. We did enjoy it very much. One thing about seating. The screen is ENORMOUS, so it is best to sit nearly at the top of the theatre, which is on a very steep slant, to enjoy the entire picture, without having to lean your neck way back. Seats are comfortable. Sound is a bit LOUD for my liking, but it is typical of nearly all theaters these days. Who in the theatre business thinks we are all DEAF??? Well, we will be at this rate.
  • There were lots of interactive displays for the kids to try out and had good information for moms and dads too. The staff were super friendly and helpful, very much worth the price of admission. We spent the day here and loved it.
