  • Be prepared for a long drive up the mountain, minimal toilet facilities, and bring bug spray. The view is incredible, similar to what you would see out of a plane window because you are so high up. There is running water (no showers), nice campsites, and although there is not much to do, there is a small hiking trail. Good place to bring friends or family if you're looking for a simple and pleasant camping experience.
  • Nice and peaceful state park. Great views of the mountains. I especially loved the observatory which is open to public on limited number of days. We were able to see many solar planets, distant galaxies, nebulas and star clusters. It was a truly out of the world experience. Hats off to the volunteers who brought their telescopes and were kind enough to explain everything we asked about.
