The Huntington Library Reviews
It’s a MUST when visiting Pasadena. The ground is vast, with many beautiful gardens and galleries, you can only see few of them in a day. It’s smart to study the map, make plans and priorities. If... more »

What a fantastic gem to visit in the San Gabriel Valley because this place has a lot of history. Henry and Arabella Huntington left a legacy for future generations to enjoy and I'm truly grateful for all the artwork and the beautiful gardens. When you decide to visit, it's almost like you're stepping through a time machine because you get a glimpse of how the past was like based on certain individuals and the way they decide to portray their memories in their artwork is phenomenal. I honestly come here primarily for the artwork and analyzing as much details as I can based off of an educator point of view. Don't let the steep price deter you from visiting but if you must know, they provide free tickets on the first day of the month. Just know that you have to get tickets a month in advance for the following month on their website.
One of the best places in LA! Always feel relaxed and peaceful after spending a day walking around the gardens. If you need an escape to nature that is not one of LA's crowded hiking trails, highly recommend. Membership is also a great deal if you're local.
